Welcome to the family.
Just as in the book of Acts, where the early church was birthed through prayer, unity, and the power of the Holy Spirit, the story of Thine Harvest City Church began with a divine calling, a spark placed in the hearts of a few faithful families.
Pastor Shinu Thomas, together with Evangelist Abin Alex, Brother Santhosh John, and Brother Jinoy Varghese, along with their families, moved to Windsor, Ontario, carrying a God-given burden: to reach the unreached and to see lives transformed by the Gospel.
They didn’t come with a crowd or a platform, but with faith, obedience, and a hunger for revival.
Trusting in God’s timing and provision, these four families began to pray and seek His will. On April 4, 2021, in the midst of global uncertainty, they gathered online for the very first service, just a few voices, yet hearts ablaze with expectation.
And just as in Acts 2:47, “The Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
God began to move. What started in living rooms and on digital screens soon grew into a vibrant fellowship of worship, prayer, and breakthrough. Then came a new season, on August 15, 2021, the church stepped into its first in-person service.
It wasn’t just a gathering, it was a moment of fulfillment, a testament to God’s faithfulness. From that day forward, the momentum never slowed. God continued to send souls, stir hearts, and expand the vision.
As the congregation grew, so did the need, and God made a way. A larger space was provided, not merely for numbers, but for deeper encounters with His presence.
Testimonies poured in.
Families were restored.
Lives were changed, one soul, one family, one testimony at a time.
And this is just the beginning.
The journey continues, not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit.
To God be all the glory.
We move forward, with Him, for Him, and in Him.
